Site Supervisor
We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee daily renovation and construction activities on-site. The role involves coordinating workers, subcontractors, and suppliers while ensuring that work is carried out according to approved designs, project schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.
The ideal candidate is practical, organised, and confident in managing site activities while maintaining good communication with project managers, designers, contractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily renovation and construction activities on-site.
- Monitor work progress and ensure projects follow the approved schedule.
- Coordinate workers, subcontractors, suppliers, and site deliveries.
- Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, designs, and specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship and quality.
- Identify and report site issues, delays, defects, or potential risks.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager and relevant teams to resolve site issues promptly.
- Check materials and deliveries to ensure they meet project requirements.
- Monitor installation works, finishing, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and other renovation activities.
- Ensure the work area is properly organised, clean, and safe.
- Maintain good communication with clients and provide updates when required.
- Ensure workers and subcontractors follow relevant site safety requirements.
- Track outstanding works and coordinate rectification or follow-up works.
- Assist with final inspections, defect checks, and project handovers.
- Maintain basic site records, progress updates, and project documentation.
Requirements
- Diploma, Certificate, or relevant experience in Construction, Building, Renovation, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role is preferred.
- Experience in residential or commercial renovation is an advantage.
- Good understanding of renovation and construction processes.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Able to read and understand basic drawings and project specifications.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple site activities.
- Responsible, practical, and detail-oriented.
- Willing to travel between project sites when required.
